Relationships! Celebrate Integrity and Character

What a great opportunity to focus on character and integrity. Connections can happen with a slow-down and tending to the important. If Relationships are the headline, how we write the article is up to us.

Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

Integrity is on the rise! Integrity is all about the small acts to help care and provide for others as well as tending to inner stability. This is the foundation of all positive relationships. Turns out, we have more opportunities now than ever to invest in focusing on kindness to others, keeping our commitments, spotlighting praise, asking for support, and maintaining wellness practices. Want better tools for directing thoughts, speech or actions? Why not add a little structure to personal growth?

  • What is an area calling for growth? I want to have deeper connections with my family in this time.

  • What do you want to focus on to achieve this goal? I would like to focus on my patience in order to really listen and be present with others…Even when it is not my way.

  • How will you know you accomplished what you set out to do? I will be able to see more time spent together connecting in ways that others create.

Integrity is an inside job and we’re asked to stay inside! Shelter in place can also be a time of turning toward our inner housekeeping.

Here are some questions inspired by Relationships 101 by John Maxwell:

  • How well am I treating those around me?

  • How does it show that I care?

  • Am I talking to people or about people?

  • Do I take responsibility for my thoughts, words and actions?

“Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.” ― Steve Maraboli, Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience

Infuse Fun into Growth

Imagine coming to the center of an arena filled to capacity with people applauding and cheering for your efforts. Enthusiasm makes it enjoyable to carry out integrity and character growth. Now imagine the entire arena turning into a dance party set to your favorite music! Personal work can be met with fun, light noticing, and the freedom of letting go of what does not serve you. Like picking up trash from the spring melt, we can simply toss what we’re done with.

  • What attitude do you want to carry?

  • How can fun transform work?

  • What uplifting activity is waiting for you?

  • How can you connect to someone who might need a boost this week?

Character is made in many small moments. We can take this time to lighten up and grow as all of life springs around us: with leaps, joys and radiance.

Namaste,

Laura
